Rocky is a fast-growing wild type arugula that grows in a compact rosette form. Wild arugula has a slightly stronger, more complex flavor than regular arugula. Its flavor can be described as peppery or mustardy with a hint of nuttiness. Most often eaten raw in salads, arugula can also give pizzazz to pizza or be enjoyed simply steamed. 

This packet sows sixteen 10‑foot rows or thirty-two successive sowings of 5-foot rows.

When to sow outside: RECOMMENDED. 2 to 4 weeks before average last frost. Successive Sowings: Every 3 weeks until 2 weeks before the average first frost. USDA zone 8 or warmer: Also sow in fall for winter harvest. 

When to start inside: 4 to 6 weeks before average last frost

Harvesting: Pick leaves when no longer than 6". For the mildest, best-tasting baby greens, pick leaves when 2"–4" long; pick them individually or cut off the plant at ground level. Harvest before plant begins to flower, unless you plan to eat the flowers.
